Pink Collar Village began with a simple frustration: cleaning is one of the most personal services you can invite into your life, yet it is rarely treated that way — not for the client, and not for the cleaner.

Our story

We started in Ottawa with one van, a short list of neighbours, and a belief that a well-kept home is not a luxury — it is a kind of rest. Word travelled the way it does in a small city: quietly, and quickly.

Today we care for homes, offices, studios and short-term rentals across the region. What has not changed is the shape of the work: reliable people, careful attention to the details that make a space feel cared for, and communication that stays clear and easy from the first message onward.

The name is deliberate. Pink collar work has carried the household and the front desk for generations, usually without recognition. We built a village around it — a woman-owned business especially proud to support mothers, women and female business owners in Ottawa, while welcoming every home and workplace that needs a hand.
